Germany, Luftwaffe. A Pilot’s Badge, Cloth Version certificate_of_authenticity 63 mm (w) x 46(Luftwaffe Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Instituted on 12. 10. 1935 by Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Gring. (Issued 1935 1945). Constructed of silvery gray machine embroidery; the obverse consisting of a laurel and oak wreath, with an eagle superimposed on the front clutching a mobile swastika in its talons, on a dark gray wool backer, unpadded, measuring 76 mm (w) x 59 mm (h), with light to moderate mothing, in good condition.
